Billions of animals lose their lives every year due to direct or indirect harm caused by food manufacturing, such as slaughtering, overfishing of marine organisms, or destruction of habitats. In 2021, the global beef cattle stock will reach 996 million, and the annual consumption will reach 230 million, a number that is still increasing.

Global warming is accelerating

Greenhouse gases are the overwhelming cause of global warming, of which methane account for 34% of the overall emission. Due to methane's unique characteristics, in a 20 year timeframe, the heat captured by per unit methane will be 80 times that of carbon dioxide, and the annual methane emission of a single cow is as high as 110.7kg.

Who is Jimi

jimi Biotechnology was established in August 2021, leveraging years of mammalian cell technology to focus on the development of cell-derived products, aiming to promote innovation and sustainable development in the bioindustry.

How is it made?

Our process: Without harming animals, Jimi isolates cells from animals and then establishes immortalized cell lines. The cells are grown in our own culture media and scaled-up in bioreactors. That will finally produce meat that’s both clean and delicious.

Drawing on years of experience in mammalian cell research and backed by a powerful team,JIMI has expanded its business to the upstream and downstream areas of cell technology, with projects involving the development of various cell-derived consumer products.

Sikavira Deer Antler Cell Extract

The world-first Sikavira® is a brand-new active extract from sika deer antler, characterized by high activity, minimal impurities, high purity, and easy absorption. It contains over 100,000,000 sika deer antler stem cells and more than 30,000 special proteins and peptides, making it suitable for use as a raw material in health products and cosmetics.

The technology related to Sikavira has been applied for PCT international patent.
